I was able to get to some cable shows, but a very limited number and since I couldn’t even stream recorded program, I didn’t have very high expectations.

My far end network speed was over 30 megs which should have been adequate as it was a private network, not free wifi in a hotel or coffee shop. Also, the way EXP works is there is one main recorder and the other TVs have some kind of remote unit that pulls from the main box. If there is any kind of network issue between the remote TVs and the main box, you don’t watch TV. Another little surprise they don’t tell you is that if you lose your internet connection, you can’t watch anything even if your cable service is unaffected.

Seems they are selling access to your viewing habits and preferences by running everything through TIVO. If they can’t capture your viewing information via the internet, you don’t get your cable service. Today I don’t have much of a choice.
