Review from Bob S. Recently, some markets were announced that the data limit is going away, upon further research, there happens to be competition in these areas, it was never about preventing network abuse, it was always a money grab. Prices are x’s the price point for the speed offered by larger cable companies and regional competitors. Service is reliable for the most part, I’ll give them that, but they have gotten greedy. Review from Spenser F.

The worst cable company I’ve ever dealt with. I went with a business account in order to try to get better service and there is no difference. All I want to do is go back to a residential account since I’m NOT a business and they are of no help. I would be ashamed to work for this company. We are working toward a resolution. Review from Brian G. It lets all kinds of spam in. Was on phone with support 5x had maximum spam setting enabled.

They told me to just setup a new email. We are working to resolve the issue, thank you for your patience. Review from William F. I don’t need extremely fast internet.

I just don’t want to have to worry about cap. They should add an option to add it on any tier, but probably won’t due to lack of competition. Suffice to say that this speed race between providers is only just beginning. We are moving from the area. They make it sound like you can stream anything you you would normally watch when at home. I called to cancel and I have to pay for an additional 5 months of service because of the contract. The customer service they provide is non-existent. When I started with Armstrong almost 30 years ago, they actually had a conscience.

Back again my last review was in but still no other cable options in Zelienople. Nothing that we can do in Zelienople and Armstrong knows it. The internet is spotty always has been. I’ve had better cable in Time Warner and Xfinity Comcast. The phone I can live without this day and age, but it’s included in my bundle anyways. We need competition if only to keep Armstrong honest. I refuse to deal with a dish and lose service every time weather blows through town.

Absolutely, the worst internet service EVER! Why am I paying for this terrible service, because it is my only “cable” option. Once had a tech out to the house and complained to him, and the answer I received: “well the line is really old going to your home.

Run a new line. Comcast doesn’t service Zelienople!!! Armstrong is the only choice in town!!! If you ask me they are really taking advantage of their monopoly by charging Zelie residence high dollar for terrible service!!! Their service is good and their employees have always been knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I have no issues with them but I hate the product they are pushing. If we lost power, I could fire up my generator and watch programs I had recorded. I reluctantly switched and have been very disappointed. The service says you can stream from anywhere. They don’t tell you that excludes sporting events. We were out of town and planned to stream a few Penguins games only to be met with a blackout message. You also only have access to limited number of programs and channels.

They make it sound like you can stream anything you you would normally watch when at home.. Take your shows with you I believe their advertising says I supposedly have meg service on my home side but that’s another issue yet the streaming was so bad, I had to watch at the lowest quality and it would constantly freeze while it waited for more content. I ended up only trying to watch what had recorded. I was able to get to some cable shows, but a very limited number and since I couldn’t even stream recorded program, I didn’t have very high expectations.

My far end network speed was over 30 megs which should have been adequate as it was a private network, not free wifi in a hotel or coffee shop. Also, the way EXP works is there is one main recorder and the other TVs have some kind of remote unit that pulls from the main box. If there is any kind of network issue between the remote TVs and the main box, you don’t watch TV. Another little surprise they don’t tell you is that if you lose your internet connection, you can’t watch anything even if your cable service is unaffected.

Seems they are selling access to your viewing habits and preferences by running everything through TIVO. If they can’t capture your viewing information via the internet, you don’t get your cable service. Today I don’t have much of a choice. Satellite TV seems to be too unreliable but as soon as I have any other option real 5G maybe? I hope Armstrong actually reads these reviews. It’s so frustrating to be stuck with such a terrible cable company.

I feel so bad for their customer service.. I want to call every time I have a problem and complain which is everyday, but I do not because the people who answer the phone aren’t the reasons for these problems. Armstrong – Zelienople.
